The evolution of Mobile Veterinary Imaging

In 2012, Dr Mitchell founded a one-man mobile ultrasound business based out of Stuart, Florida called ‘Mobile Veterinary Imaging, LLC’.
The business flourished and the demand for adding talented sonographers to the team was inevitable.
Over time, the team grew and the territory expanded.
We are now a team of 5 veterinarians who’ve devoted their practice to diagnostic ultrasound.
The territory covers the Southeast coast of Florida from Cape Canaveral to Ft Lauderdale.

If you are looking for mobile ultrasound services but your practice is outside MVI’s umbrella, visit Planewave.net.

”My goal is bring expert ultrasound services to practices across Florida. I’ve performed about 50,000 ultrasound consults over more than a decade. Take advantage of my experience and practice medicine at the highest standard and experience rewarding financial gain by keeping fees in house.”

Dr. Lara Wiseman always knew that she wanted to be a veterinarian and worked in the field as a volunteer and then technician as soon as she could. She completed her undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry at the University of Pennsylvania and it was there that her interest in ultrasound peaked working as a specialist technician in radiology.

Dr. Wiseman then attended the University of Florida to study veterinary medicine and graduated with academic honors - Go Gators! She went on to complete an intensive internship and years in fast-paced general practice where she continued to utilize and hone her special interest in sonography before jumping in full-time. Her history of managing complicated cases gives her a unique opportunity to provide both ultrasound findings and what that means for the next steps in your patient’s care.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Wiseman enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors - hiking, biking, and diving - with her husband Jake and amazing kids, Talia and Gabriel.
They also like just spending time on the couch with a good movie and their four-legged canine family: Einstein, Ginny Burger, and Tofu, all adoptions and very spoiled.

In addition to her vast years of both large and small animal surgery and internal medicine, Dr Bancroft is also certified in veterinary acupuncture, chiropractic and food therapy.

Dr Bancroft recently relocated to Florida and is enjoying the sunny weather. She is an avid biker and hopes to get many miles in the saddle.
